Rural Primary School Project

Bringing together adults, youth and children to rebuild a community.

FACE main concern is the realization of sustainable peace and development with respect to the Millennium Development Goals - MDG (Achieve Universal Primary Education, and Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women)and Poverty Reduction Strategy – PRS (Eradicate Extreme poverty and Hunger) in which the children, women, adults and youth are involved in positive activities that will ensure socio- economic welfare in the entire Garquellah Township. Our vision is to see a development in which everyone participate equally and effectively in problem and solution identification and where local communities, government and other developmental bodies facilitate and carry out skills transfer to the younger generation who were not fortunate enough to be trained or even to go to school because of the civil war which took nearly a decade and a half until in 2003 when it came to a close after the Comprehensive Peace Agreement was signed in Accra, Ghana.

If you do the math, you will find out that a single beer drinking spends the minimum of $2,016 USD a year. What if we all give $2.00 dollar a week to help a child in Liberia gain Education? The answer is yours.
